*Annually we hold Voice of Democracy and Patriot's Pen competitions where school aged kids write essays on a selected topic. The top 3 essays in each category are recognized as a lunch/celebration we call Loyalty Day in the spring each year.
**The Voice of Democracy Program is open to students in grades 9-12 (on the October 31 deadline), who are enrolled in a public, private or parochial high school or home study program in the United States and its territories.
**The Patriot's Pen program is open to students in
grades 6-8 (on the October 31 deadline) who are
enrolled in a public, private or parochial high school or home study program in the United States and its territories.
*Also each year we recognize JROTC Cadets for their hard work at High Schools in our area.
